I went to the Bennington, VT location about a week ago and was EXTREMELY disappointed and felt disrespected by the SALES manager there and her employee. I walked in and took them 10+ minutes to greet me and ask me if I needed any help. When I found something I liked it was trying to negotiate a lower price and they came down a bit. I had asked the guy when I could expect delivery and he was like you can take that one. I had then noticed that there were some strings that were hanging from the stitching in the center console of dual recliner. So I told the guy that and asked to get $50 additional off because of that and they refused. So I then asked about delivery and they told me it was a $15 charge. I asked if I could at least get free delivery and they refused. So I walked out of that store after being treated very disrespectful and said you have lost my business over $65... I then went to your major competitor Bennington furniture where I was immediately greeted treated very nicely and immediately felt within walking in there 100x better than I did at Laflammes. I told the lady the story of how I was treated and the price that I was being told and she said okay I have something in the back I think you'll like. I said okay followed her to the back where I found a much nicer bigger dual reclining sofa with a bigger center console. She asked me the price that I was trying to get I told her $550, she said okay I can match that and I'll give you free delivery. Not only was the dual recliner love seat there bigger, more comfortable and nicer it was $100 more regular price than at Laflammes and she still gave me it for the $550 I was being charged for a damaged floor model + gave me the free delivery... I was super disappointed considering I had had a decent experience with the sales manager two years prior when I bought my bed. All in all I will never go back to any laflammes location again not after being treated the way I was treated that is a shame as you lost a lot of business from me that day and future business. The really awful part was you didn't only lose my business but you lost one of my friends business that was there and saw how I was being treated he is now also going to Bennington furniture on my recommendation after seeing how I was treated there.
No one in the store but myself and sales person. After walking around for a couple of laps 10 min or so I had to approach her. She was abrupt and seemed disinterested in the sale. $$ for delivery. No deal.
